MASTERFUL, MASTERLY
Masterful (производное от master 'господин, хозяин') употребляется главным образом в значении 'властный, деспотический, высокомерный': masterful behaviour, masterful ruling, реже – в значении 'мастерский': masterful speech. Masterly (производное от master 'мастер') имеет значение 'мастерский, совершенный': masterly stroke 'мастерский штрих, мазок', masterly performance, masterly work.
